Studio Services & Costs Explained
There are 2 different ways we can approach studio costs, "By Time" or "By Task." Both are laid out down below with simple explanations, and we can go even deeper into them if you'd like. Please reach out through the contact form below.
"By Time"
Half Day - $250 (start @ 10am or 6pm)
Full Day - $350 (start @ 10am)
Overnight - $350 (10pm to 6am)
Hourly - $60 (2 hour minimum)
*** Please note, start and end times are always flexible.

"By Task - Full Song Production"
Option 1 “Indie Budgets” - $600 per song (Most Popular)
One day of recording. Also includes editing, mixing & mastering.
Option 2 “Radio Ready” - $1000 per song*
Everything I can do to help make the song ready for the radio! With few limitations*. Includes pre-production, setup, recording, editing, mixing & mastering.
(*N.B. “within reason” is the limitation here. Let’s talk if this is what you’re interested in.)
One day of recording. Also includes editing, mixing & mastering.
Option 2 “Radio Ready” - $1000 per song*
Everything I can do to help make the song ready for the radio! With few limitations*. Includes pre-production, setup, recording, editing, mixing & mastering.

"By Time - Post Production"
Mastering is the most straight forward.
$40 per song (for most songs)
Mixing is dependent on the track count. Because we work with a lot of analogue equipment, stereo tracks count as 2 tracks, mono tracks count as 1 track. The assumption here is each song is less than 6 minutes long. Longer songs take more time and may require additional cost.
Up to 48 Tracks - $240 per mix
More than 48 Tracks - $300 per mix
Editing is invoiced hourly if it happens outside any of the above scenarios.

Additional Details
All options include in-house engineers working in our studio on the East side of the city. All options also includes any gear or equipment we have available at the studio you may want to use. As an alternative, we’d be happy to talk in person, by phone, or chat to discuss a detailed, personalized estimate that exactly meets your specific needs.
